Inverters, photovoltaic electrical cabinets and battery equipment require assessment of the actual hazard.
Include the equipment and battery type, capacity, enclosure and ventilation. Battery suitability and thermal runaway claims require evidence for the specific configuration.
ASSESS THE SPECIFIC CONFIGURATION
Start with the enclosure and the technical documentation for the exact FIRELO variant. The following checks help prepare an inquiry; they do not confirm that every installation is suitable.
Record the internal width, height and depth, partitions, openings and ventilation. Include the operating temperature and proposed mounting position.
A DIN-rail mounting format is only one selection criterion. Check the protected volume, activation temperature, orientation and required clearances in the exact model’s datasheet.
Specify the rack dimensions, installed equipment, airflow and whether the enclosure is open or closed. A ventilated rack and a sealed enclosure require different assessment.
Suitability for electronics, aerosol residues and the response of fans must be confirmed from technical documents. Cabinet protection does not automatically provide protection for an entire server room.
Provide the equipment type, enclosure volume, power sources and ventilation. For batteries include the chemistry, capacity and configuration.
Do not infer battery or thermal runaway protection from a product name. Ask for supporting documentation for the specific application and agree the installation requirements before ordering.
