How It Works:

Autonomous Protection Powered by Aerosol Technology

Unlike traditional fire extinguishers that require human intervention, FIRELO systems operate entirely on their own. Our technology utilizes Condensed Aerosol Generation—currently recognized as the most effective method for protecting enclosed spaces and sensitive electronics.

1. Automatic 24/7 Detection

Every FIRELO unit is equipped with a specialized thermal sensitive cord or an integrated heat sensor. This element constantly monitors the temperature within the protected enclosure (e.g., inside an electrical cabinet or engine bay). It requires no batteries, no sensors, and no external power—it operates on a purely physical-chemical principle.

2. Instant Activation (170°C – 175°C)

The moment the ambient temperature reaches a critical threshold (indicating fire or extreme overheating), the thermal cord ignites. This pulse immediately triggers the solid aerosol compound inside the module. The entire process from detection to discharge happens in a fraction of a second.

3. Chemical Fire Suppression

The device releases a dense cloud of potassium-based microscopic particles (aerosol). Unlike water which cools, or ‭‬ which displaces oxygen, the aerosol chemically interrupts the combustion chain reaction at a molecular level. It knocks out the flames instantly, regardless of oxygen levels.

Why It Surpasses Gas and Powder

The extinguishing agent in FIRELO systems consists of ultra-fine particles that remain suspended in the air for several minutes after activation. This provides a "soaking" effect that prevents re-ignition, which is critical for Lithium-ion battery fires.

  • Dielectric Properties: The aerosol is electrically non-conductive. It can safely suppress fires in live equipment up to 35,000V without the risk of short circuits.
  • Non-Corrosive: Standard dry chemical powders can destroy electronics even if the fire doesn’t. FIRELO aerosol is non-corrosive and residue-safe; after use, simply ventilate the area or use a vacuum/compressed air to clean.
  • Non-Pressurized System: FIRELO units are not stored under pressure. There is no risk of leaking, no danger of explosion in high heat, and no annual pressure inspections required.
